Application of Burner in Rotary Kiln
Most burners for rotary kilns are extended from the head cover to the inside of the rotary cylinder through the head cover, and heat the material to the required temperature by means of flame and radiation. Burners come in various forms, such as coal injection pipes, oil guns, and gas nozzles, depending on the type of combustion. When the reaction temperature is low, a combustion room is set up next to the head cover to heat the hot gas and provide heat to the rotary kiln.
Advantages of Multi-channel Burner:
(1) Improving the mixing of coal powder and air, enhancing the speed of combustion, and ensuring complete and stable combustion.
(2) Providing more ways to adjust the air volume and velocity of each channel, making the flame shape and temperature adjustment flexible and suitable for clinker calcination.
(3) Long service life of burners.
(4) Protecting the lining of the rotary kiln and extending the service life of the lining.
(5) Stabilizing the quality of clinker and increasing the system production capacity.
(6) Simple structure, convenient maintenance and replacement, and reducing the system downtime caused by burner failure.
(7) Reducing the amount of primary air and increasing the use of high-temperature secondary air to improve the utilization efficiency of clinker heat recovery.
(8) Low system resistance, reducing the power consumption of the main fan.
(9) Reducing the emission of harmful substances (such as NOx) to the maximum extent possible.
(10) Using low-grade fuels to enhance the comprehensive utilization of fuel resources and reduce the cost of equipment and maintenance.
Performance of Three-channel Rotary Kiln Burner:
Power range: 200-20000kW
Applicable to rotary kiln production lines with capacity of 500-10000t/d
Applicable fuels for three-channel burners:
• Coal powder, blue coal
• Natural gas, liquefied gas, city gas, light oil, heavy oil, residual oil, and mixed oil
Rotary kiln burners are mainly applied in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, and power generation, including cement kilns, ball mills, lime kilns, lithium kilns, magnesium kilns, aluminum oxide kilns, chrome salt kilns, and mineral processing kilns, etc.
According to process requirements, burners can be designed as double pipes, triple pipes, quadruple pipes, and quintuple pipes.
