Signs of burner problems: black smoke when burning.
Possible causes:
1. The shock absorber may be too small, or the nozzle and pen assembly may be positioned too far forward.
2. Possibly a bad nozzle or insufficient oil pressure, which will affect fuel atomization and cause poor combustion. Insufficient oil pressure may be due to a blocked oil supply system. In addition, the foot oil pump may be lost or the oil pressure may be adjusted too low. Check the oil filter and clean the fuel tank.
3. It may be that the chimney is clogged, or the bricks have fallen into the hearth, thus preventing the flame from burning. If the burner is a furnace for an alloy die-casting machine, the accumulation of the alloy exuding from the alloy-bearing tank in the furnace hinders the flame, thereby generating black smoke during the combustion process.
4. The small volume of the furnace or the small diameter of the chimney may cause black smoke during combustion. It is possible that the nozzle selected is too large. If the oil pressure is adjusted too high, the original furnace volume may not be able to accommodate the increased flame and black smoke will be generated during the combustion process.
5. If the chimney is equipped with a baffle, please pay attention to whether it is opened correctly. If the chimney is equipped with an exhaust fan, please pay attention to whether it is started.
6. It may be that the fan of the burner has accumulated a lot of dust, which has weakened the output of the combustion air.
